The club runs group coaching sessions dedicated to juniors every Saturday morning throughout the year. 4 sessions are arranged for the different ages groups:
9.00am - 10.00am Mini Tennis Red For juniors born 2000 or later
10.00am - 11.00am Mini Tennis Orange For juniors born 1999 or later
11.00am - 12.00pm Mini Tennis Green For juniors born 1998 or later
12.00pm - 1.00pm Full Tennis For juniors born 1997 or later
PRICES: Sessions cost £3.00 for members and £4.00 for non-members![]()
BOOKING: There is no need to book just turn up for the right session and pay your fee in the club house
WHEN: The Saturday morning coaching runs all year round. Sessions are only cancelled if the weather conditions are very bad. If the session is not going to be run on a particular date you will be given advanced warning. Details will be available on the website Notice Board.
WHICH SESSION: If you are not sure which session is right for your child John Walsh will be able to advise
Four Junior Tennis Camps are held during the Summer Holidays every Summer. Each Summer Camp is 5 days long with sessions running from 10.00am to 3:30pm every day.
WHAT HAPPENS: Camps are fun based with coaching on all strokes. Players are put into groups dependent upon their ability and age, to help them develop correctly as the week progresses. Tournaments are run throughout the week and prizes are awarded on day five of each camp. packed lunches are required as attendees will have an hour each day for lunch. Depending on the weather, tournament matches will be played at this time.
WHO CAN ATTEND: Camps are open to all juniors from 5 upwards. Juniors do not need to be members to attend the Summer Camp. A junior can attend more than one week's course.
