The tennis club helps raise money for local charities by holding two charity days each year. One of these days is in support of St Luke’s Hospice, the second is usually a charity that has helped some of our members.
This years event (2022) will be for Breast Cancer Over the last 16 years the tennis club has raised over £18,000 for local charities.
The driving force behind our charity occasions is Maria Ormerod who, with head coach John Walsh, ensures these events run like clockwork.
